Sarajevo

Sarajevo, capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina is also known as “European Jerusalem”. It is one of only a few major European cities which have a mosque, Catholic church, Orthodox church and synagogue in the same neighborhood. Here the  Ottoman empire of the east and the Austro-Hungarian empire of the west left an indelible mark through culture, traditions and religions.
